Contact Me

I am a librarian and an educator who works to connect people to primary sources in meaningful and innovative ways. As Outreach + Public Services Archivist at Brooklyn Historical Society from 2011 – 2014, I served as Co-Director of Students and Faculty in the Archives (SAFA), the collaborative postsecondary education project which led to TeachArchives.org. I am currently Head of Reference and User Services at BHS.

I was previously Library Assistant Professor / Digital Initiatives Outreach Librarian at the University of Vermont Libraries’ Center for Digital Initiatives. I have also worked with collections at Kent State University, the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library at Yale University, and the Cleveland Museum of Art’s Ingalls Library.

I am committed to diversity in libraries and archives: improving the range of collections, fostering new users and advocates, and expanding opportunities within the field.
