Contact Me

I am a Ph.D. candidate in religion and religious education at Fordham University, with a research interest in faith and pilgrimage. At St. Francis College I teach Survey of World Religions, the Christian Tradition, the American Religious Experience, Contemporary Moral Issues, Women and Religion, and courses on St. Clare and St. Francis. I coordinate the college's San Damiano Institute which promotes Franciscan values and learning on campus, and I serve as a liaison with cultural institutions including the Rubin Museum of Art and Brooklyn Historical Society.

Visiting the archives demonstrates to my students that religion has long been an important part of the history of Brooklyn, where our college is located. Our work with archival material has helped my students understand the enduring and illuminating contribution that religious belief has made to the social and political formation of the United States.
